Lists

Categorieën: tussendoor Reacties: 5 dinsdag, 23 september 2008 16:11

I’m working on a lot of things at the same time, but nothing to show so far…I write ‘what to do’ lists every day, but nothing seems to get finished.

Soon there are 2 birthdaykids in the house, that means that we have to prepare the parties!
Soon there will be a baby born (okay, 10 weeks from now. but I already get nervous): clothes and blankets need to be washed, drawing the birth announcement, and don’t forget: knitting and sewing for that little one!

In the meantime I’m still working on some dolls, but they don’t come out the way I want it, so nothing to show..sigh…I wished there were more hours in one day to get things done and a few more hours at night to get some more sleep…

Remember my one-year-blog-give-away? Maureen was the winner of a bag from my pattern book. She wanted a rather large bag, preferably red, with a long shoulderstrap. I thought this bag would fit her chosen options:

And this is what came out of my bernina:

Here are the first goodies for our baby: Tracy from Alabama made and bought these lovely things! It’s part of the online baby shower swap organized by heybubbles:

It was all wrapped in blue paper and there were bows and ribbons everywhere, a real gift box! I am very happy with all of my presents!! Thank you very much Tracy!

These are the first booties, and a very funny washcloth. Green monkee socks, a onesie with an elephant, a plushie, an issue from the magazine Tracy is the designer of, and a handy bag, who doesn’t need an extra bag!!
I hope Tracy enjoyes her presents as much as I do. I’ll let you know what I made for her as soon as it arrives!

I made a dollsling for both girl. The pattern is from an old ‘Knippie Idee’ (Spring 2005). Very quick and easy, I made two in one evening. The girls are very happy to carry their babies around. But of course there other ways to take your child with you too.

We enjoyed the last days of august:
