Yes, I’m knitting again! This time I want to make leg warmers for my 3 daughters. They have to be bridesmaids at the wedding of a friend of ours on February 2nd. Since that is still wintertime, they have to wear something warm and cosy. So, leg warmers it’ll be under their festive dresses…
Ok, their clothes aren’t made or bought yet, but 1 month that is plenty of time for dressing 4 kids, ain’t it?
For the first time in years, I’ve finished a knitting project! I like knitting, but I don’t have the patience to pursue to the end. The last knitting project I started, was when I was 6 months pregnant with my third child. I thought that would be enough time to finish it. But in the meantime that particular child is already 3 years old, and the next child is 18 months. I don’t think I have to bother about finishing that little baby sweater anymore…
But 6 weeks ago I started knitting a sweater, and yesterday evening it was all done! Hooray for me!
It looks very handmade. That’s because I made up the pattern myself, and because it IS handmade of course 
This is a custom order for a friend (the blanket, not the doll..):a few weeks ago she became ‘aunt’ for the first time and ordered a baby blanket for her little niece. You can wrap the baby in the blanket, tighten around the head and close it with the velcro, nice and warm. Just what a baby needs in wintertime!
